“…children are a heritage and gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward" -Psalms 127:3 (AMP)
With such precious gifts come great responsibility. Among these are the responsibilities to love, to guide, and to protect. When families and communities work together to fulfill these responsibilities, we lay a solid foundation on which our children can build a secure sense of self and sense of purpose that will guide them for the rest of their lives. And what’s more, we give them the mind, the tools, and the heart to effectively navigate the world around them and grow into the powerful young men and women that they are meant to be.
As parents and caregivers...
we love our children unconditionally. Unfortunately, our love, no matter how great, does not always translate into a clear set of guidelines that tells us how to handle difficult behaviors, how to deal with the peer and social issues of this generation, how to help our children heal from trauma or abuse, or simply how to get our children to talk to us. Whether your child is facing challenges in one of these or in other areas, our staff would love to guide you through facing and conquering those challenges.
